Ford to build custom airplane-themed Mustang to donate to charity

For the past six years, Ford has partnered with EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity buy auctioning off unique custom cars. According to MustangsDaily, this F-35 Lightning II themed Mustang features special titanium grey paint with yellow and blue accents, carbon front splitter, rear diffuser, Recaro seats and other custom touches.

Previous customs took inspiration from the SR-71 Blackbird, Blue Angels and the USAF Thunderbirds. The car will be auctioned off at the Gathering of the Eagles charity event to raise money for the EAA Young Eagles program which helps inspire the next generation of aviation enthusiasts and professionals.
