Going once … going twice … sold!

Did you spend the winter restoring a classic car that’s ready to be flipped for a profit? Is a rare vehicle taking up space in your garage?

The second annual Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction, presented by the Dueck Auto Group, is just the place to move that precious metal.

The show is now accepting consignment applications, and with some of the lowest commission rates in the industry at just six
per cent each for buyers and sellers, as well as a special early bird entry rate until April 15, this is one of the best venues in the Pacific Northwest to auction off your collector ride.

“We’re so incredibly excited to bring the Vancouver Collector Car Show & Auction back for the second year,” producer Jason Heard said. “Last year’s show and auction was tremendously successful, and with the vehicles we have already signed up to participate, this year is setting up to be even better.”

The inaugural show and auction last June saw 116 cars and trucks cross the Maynard’s auction block, half of which sold totalling than $1.26 million and making it one of B.C.’s most successful classic car auctions in decades. Show executives also assisted in the sales of eight additional vehicles following the event.

New to this year’s two-day event is a special auction preview to be hosted by automotive journalist and TV personality Steve Magnante, and is open only to the auction’s registered bidders and consignors.

The 2014 show and auction will take place June 21-22 at the PNE Fairgrounds. It will feature more than 700 stunning vehicles on display across 12 acres of indoor and outdoor space, the live auction, show vehicles, exhibit booths, sponsor displays, beer gardens, outdoor entertainment, bands, and more.
