Consumer Reports releases list of cars buyers should avoid

On the heels of releasing its top picks for 2014, Consumer Reports has also published its list of cars that buyers should avoid. The automaker that takes the biggest hit is Chrysler, with many Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles appearing on the list.

Faults Consumer Reports typically call out include noisy cabins, underpowered engines, unrefined transmissions, poor handling, and complicated infotainment systems.
