New Mazda Halzoumi concept leaked ahead of Geneva show

Geneva concept car to preview the next Mazda 2, which is expected to go on sale later this year

Pictures of the Mazda Hazumi concept, which will be seen at the Geneva motor show next week and offers a close preview to the new Mazda 2 supermini, have leaked online.

These images, posted on an Austrian car forum, show the five-door concept has traditional supermini proportions, but also includes conceptual extras like painted rubber tyres and a lack of wing mirrors. Such features are unlikely to make it onto the production model when it goes on sale later this year.

The Hazumi uses the latest interpretation of Mazda’s Kodo design language. Its styling is said to be close to the production model.
