Quick news: Clio RS special; Bond cars for sale; new battery for Soul EV

Hot new Clio RS for Geneva debut, 60 Bond cars for sale, Kia Soul EV to have 124-mile range, New Evantra V8 supercar teased

A hot limited-edition version of the Renault Clio RS will be shown at the Geneva motor show next month. Leaked images of the Monaco GP edition show new paintwork and slight cosmetic changes. No mechanical upgrades are expected. Renault has already confirmed the model won’t be coming to the UK.

Almost 60 cars from various James Bond films are going on sale. The collection, which includes an Aston Martin DB5, Lotus Esprit Turbo and Ford Mustang Mach 1, has been priced at £20 million. The sale also includes plenty of Bond memorabilia, including posters and photos.

Kia says its forthcoming Soul EV will have a driving range of around 124 miles thanks to a new battery material. The new power cell has a high energy density, which means the Soul can be recharged in only 25 minutes. The Soul EV will go on sale in the UK following a US launch later this year, and is expected to cost around £25,000.

Italian firm Mazzanti Automobili has released a preview video of its new supercar, the Evantra. Powered by a 7.0-litre V8 engine producing 691bhp, the Evantra can reportedly hit 62mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 217mph. See the car in action in the video below.
