Los Angeles: What to expect at the 2013 LA Auto Show

We’re just days away from the start of the 2013 LA Auto Show. As usual, you’ll be able to follow along with our obsessive live coverage of the show on Wednesday and Thursday, but in advance of all the lights, camera and razzle-dazzle, here’s a preview of what to expect at next week’s expo.

The big debuts to look forward to include the next-generation Subaru WRX (sedan only and said to offer an optional continuously variable transmission for the first time), the third-generation modern Mini (adorable as always), the Porsche Macan small crossover (likely to become the brand’s best-seller in short order), Lincoln’s critical new MKC and the return of a less-than-full-size truck to GM stables in the form of the Chevrolet Colorado.

Of course, there will be much, much more to talk about leading up to all the live reveals of these new production cars and concepts, and there’s a whole lot of stuff we aren’t allowed to tell you about just yet. But for now, here’s what we know is coming – be sure to check it frequently, as we’ll be continually updating this page leading up to the show. We’ll have all this, and more, live from LA next week.
