Quick news: New Honda Uni-Cub concept, Audi A8 special edition

A special edition of the new Audi A8 to go into limited production, while Honda shows its re-designed personal mobility concept

Honda will reveal a new generation of its Uni-Cub personal mobility concept at the Tokyo motor show later this month. The original Uni-Cub, first seen last year, has been re-designed to become a near-production ready concept in the form of the Uni-Cub β. The model weighs 25kg and is powered by an electric motor, giving it a travelling range of three miles and a top speed of 3mph.

Audi has unveiled a special edition of the new A8. The A8 W12 Exclusive concept comes with a 671bhp engine and will be sold from March next year in a strictly limited run of 50 units. The car features an interior designed by Poltrana Frau, and includes bespoke leather designs and new interior trim. Audi is currently considering whether or not to sell the new model in the UK.

Ssangyong is enhancing its winter sales pitch by fitting its Korando and Rexton W models with mud and snow tyres. The manufacturer says using the right tyres in winter are proven to be an advantage to handling and performance, and its rubber is developed specifically for crossover and SUV vehicles.
