Sedan: 2014 Acura ILX

Range of engine options from sporty manual-equipped four-cylinder to hybrid; base model enhanced with more equipment

Canadians love our small cars, and the most affordable Acura has always done well here with its blend of nimble footprint and excellent value. For 2014, the choice gets even easier, with extra standard features like upgraded 17-inch alloys, leather heated seats, multi-angle rearview camera, active noise-cancellation, and a new rear subwoofer. You can buy your ILX in one of three flavours, whether it’s the standard 150 hp model, the more efficient hybrid offering or, sportiest of the range, the 201 hp ILX dynamic which is only available with a quick-shifting manual transmission. Extra add-on technology comes with available satellite navigation, and there’s a host of carry-over features from last year like standard keyless entry and push-button start.
