2016 Mercedes-AMG GT Artist's Rendering

Last week, we brought you a clip of the 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT (pictured above in our exclusive artist’s rendering) stomping about with its engine under load. The cats who simply want to roll up to a stoplight and intimidate the luckless schnook who bolted the time-honored pulleys ‘n’ Flows setup onto his Mustang in the hope of a manifold increase in horsepower?

Fear not, brethren, because Mercedes has now released sound files of their upcoming 911 fighter’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo bent-eight at idle, with a light foot prodding the throttle, and during wide-open out-of-gear antics.

Listen below and decide for yourself if Affalterbach’s latest is enough to shout down the insolent mook in the next lane before he leaves the line. You know the one—that Camaro-driving roughneck with cat-back fever. Does he not deserve the wrath of your boot’s heel for daring to test you? Of course he does. And AMG, it seems, is more than happy to provide said boot.
