Lyonheart sports car put back a year, Kia Cee’d GT for £20.5k, Bugatti specials sold, Skoda’s Superb specials, BMW i8 luggage

The Lyonheart K sports car has been delayed by up to one year as its makers want to use a new platform and engine, likely sourced from the Jaguar F-type. Lyonheart plans to show the car in Geneva next year, with prices starting at around £295,700 before tax.

Kia’s five-door Cee’d GT has gone on sale, priced from £20,495. Joining the three-door model launched last year, the Cee’d GT features a turbocharged vesion of Kia’s 1.6-litre petrol engine with 201bhp. The car features revised exterior trim, stiffer suspension and sharper steering. Both standard GT and GT Tech trims are available.

Bugatti says all nine units of its limited-edition Legends series have been sold. Three units of each car, which commemorates important people from the company’s history, have been produced. A fourth Bugatti Legends car will be revealed in Geneva next week.

Skoda has launched Outdoor and Outdoor Plus versions of its new Superb. The standard car features new front and rear bumpers, side body mouldings and wheel arch extensions, while Outdoor Plus models add leather trim and sat-nav. Available with a 2.0-litre TDI engine in either 138bhp or 168bhp forms; the cars cost from £26,995 and £29,235 respectively.
