Team of disabled servicemen to enter Dakar Rally in 2014; Land Rover continues support with two Defender-based Wildcat rally cars

Land Rover has announced it will continue to sponsor the Race2Recovery rally team as it again enters the Dakar Rally next year.

The team, comprised of injured British and American servicemen and including several amputees, will enter two Defender-based Wildcat rally cars into the event. Land Rover will be providing parts, logistics and financial support in the run up to the race as well as the vehicles themselves.

Race2Recovery will also be training new drivers to take part in the 2014 challenge, with Land Rover again funding the training scheme. As part of the programme, the team will field an entry into the recently announced Defender Challenge.
