Sedan: 2014 Volkswagen CC

Coupe-style sedan with driver-focused cockpit; new R-line package available on mid-level Sportline trim

Sleeker than the normal Passat, VW’s CC has plenty of curb appeal but sacrifices little in terms of practicality. Turbocharged power is standard, and this year’s updates include a new R-Line trim for Sportline cars that adds bigger wheels and an aggressive aerodynamics package. Highline cars are fully loaded and perfectly capable of Audi-like driving dynamics without paying for the badge: a 280-hp V6 engine brings the power and four-wheel-drive gets it to the ground.
